If we believe you need additional imaging or another healthcare specialist after your car accident, we’ll help you get there.

Auto injuries can sometimes involve more than one part of the body and require more than one type of healthcare provider.

That’s why we don’t believe good personal injury care should happen in a bubble.

Sometimes We Need More Information

Your history, symptoms, examination findings, digital X-rays, and how you’re responding to care may tell us that we need additional information.

When clinically appropriate, our doctors can order advanced diagnostic imaging, including an MRI, or recommend additional evaluation.

An MRI can provide information about structures that aren’t evaluated the same way on an X-ray, including discs and other soft tissues. When that information is necessary to better understand an injury or determine the appropriate next step, we’ll explain why we’re recommending it.

We don’t order additional imaging simply because you were in an accident. We order it when we believe the information is clinically necessary.

What If I Need a Specialist?

We’ll help coordinate that too.

Over more than 20 years of working with auto accident and personal injury patients, we’ve developed relationships with healthcare professionals and facilities throughout the Valley, including:

  • Orthopedic specialists
  • Neurologists
  • Pain management specialists
  • Physical therapists
  • MRI and diagnostic imaging facilities
  • Other medical specialists when appropriate

If your injuries require expertise outside our office, we don’t view that as chiropractic care failing.

We view it as doing what’s right for the patient.

We Work With the Rest of Your Healthcare Team

Sometimes chiropractic care can remain an appropriate part of your overall recovery while another healthcare provider addresses a different aspect of your injuries.

Other times, we may want another specialist to evaluate you before we continue.

Your doctors may also communicate with other members of your healthcare or legal team when appropriate and with the necessary authorization so everyone has the information needed to understand your case.

The goal is coordination—not competition.

Healthcare is a team sport.

We Won’t Leave a Stone Unturned

One of the advantages of choosing an office with extensive auto injury experience is knowing that we’re looking beyond today’s appointment.

We’re continually asking:

Are you progressing as expected?

Is something not responding the way we anticipated?

Do we need additional imaging?

Should another provider become involved?

Is there something we’re missing?

If your progress or examination findings tell us that we need to look deeper, we will.

Our goal isn’t to keep every aspect of your care inside Chandler Chiropractic.

Our goal is to help make sure you receive the appropriate care for your injuries—even when that means bringing other healthcare professionals onto your team.

We won’t leave a stone unturned when it comes to helping you understand your injuries and determining the appropriate path forward.
